Galentine's Day 2024

In a world where romance often takes the spotlight, Galentine's Day (think gals doing Valentine’s together) is a shining reminder of the importance of friendship and connection. Galentine's Day offers a refreshing break from the romantic overload that often accompanies Valentine's Day, instead making time to honor the bonds of sisterhood, friendship, and the reliable support that friends provide.

This year, we celebrated Valentine’s Day XCVI style with a Galentine’s Day brunchy tea party, inviting some of our favorite gals to slip into the newest XCVI Spring styles for an afternoon of sweet treats and great company.

A supremely pastel, floral day awaited our group of influencer friends with pink tulips, hydrangeas, and baby’s breath bouquets at every turn, plus plenty of tea trays and cake displays covered in novelty pastries and confections, including heart-shaped macarons and finger sandwiches. Small bites like quiche and a mouth-watering dessert assortment ensured a tasty afternoon with a pink-themed table set under a lantern-lit archway of leaves and branches. The atmosphere was perfectly romantic yet playful and fresh—the perfect space in which to celebrate Galentine’s.

Brynn and Cory rocked our latest cotton crochet in respective hues of palest pink-ivory “Muted Primrose” and classic Black for some unprecedented dark romance. With its floral crochet arm paneling and curve-hugging silhouette, the Birch Jacket was a standout on Cory, and she styled it to perfection, complete with plenty of attitude and personality. Marlaina also slipped into some crochet with the Rue Tank and Florin Pant in “Muted Primrose” for a modernized bohemian ensemble in silhouettes of a scalloped-edge, bra-friendly tank and wide-leg, pull-on waist trouser. Ghazal sported the Macauley Crop Jumpsuit in light linen “Hypnotic” blue for a one-and-done ensemble that’s undefeated for a seasonal look, accessorizing with oversized blue sunglasses and a matching paisley purse. Tristina sipped her tea and stuck with the event’s color theme, wearing the light linen Shawnie Tank in dusty pink Hydrangea pigment. With pintuck details and a flowy silhouette, Shawnie made for a perfectly breezy and versatile little number that paired beautifully with the Zorba Pant in crisp white for a simple yet stunning, dressy look.Sitting pretty as can be, Maya, Molly, and Sophia all opted for the light linen Pilar Tank Dress in bright White. Featuring antique brass hardware buckles for straps and pintucks at the neckline, Pilar offers plenty of novelty and unexpected edge while maintaining a pristine, clean look. A flowy silhouette and modest yet cheeky mini cut ensure an easy-to-wear and enjoyable Springtime dress. Meanwhile, Taylor rocked the Quita Wide Leg in striped Indigo Gauze for a pair of pants that goes from beach to business at the snap of a finger. Crepe-like in texture with a shirred drawstring waist and roomy fit, Quita excels as a lightweight Springtime trouser for just about any occasion.  The gals noshed on fresh fruits and scrumptious cupcakes, chatting about anything and everything—from clothes to romance to movies to work. Light pink candles lit the table as crystal glasses clinked in cheers and celebration, brought together by XCVI’s Spring collection. Everyone in attendance had the opportunity to style their XCVI look with personal touches, and each individual brought her own, unique personality to this seasonal line. The ladies wined, dined, and celebrated their diverse love of style—and one another—under the sunshine and among the flowers. The spirit of loving friendship and connection was felt all day long and reminds us just why we chose to celebrate Galentine’s Day the XCVI way this year. Cheers to a successful day of love and a stunning new XCVI Spring collection!
