The Summer Edit: 2023

With the high Summer in full swing, the time has come to rustle through our Summer collection and let the season play muse. Inspired by the vividness of these long, hot days, this lookbook aims to create exceptional color combinations and bring out the best in hue and texture.

Stealing the spotlight is the bright cobalt Honorable Blue, adding personality to the Terraced Wide Leg pant with its dazzling color. A CORE style in a unique Summer hue, the Terraced Wide Leg in Honorable Blue exudes bold appeal in your breezy look. Paired with the ruffled high tie-up neck Caywood Tank that evokes vintage charm, we color-blocked like champs. An oversize blue clutch and matching suede platform sandals elevated the look even further. Homemade beaded earrings and gold jewelry added extra details, resulting in an ensemble fit for both business casual occasions and nights on the town.

Continuing the blue theme, we embraced the lightweight luxury of the deep aqua Safe Harbor pigment in the Linen Folksy Jacket. Contrasted beautifully with pale neutrals like Sandalwood Pigment, the Kaj Wide Leg pant complemented this bold hue perfectly. With stretchy shirring at the waist and a flared, asymmetrical hem, the Kaj pant brought texture and volume to the look, completing it with vintage pointed-toe boots in a similar sandy color. This look feels like a day at the beach but features structured and formalized elements.

Spotting the rich brown Leatherbound Sirius Tiered Skirt, we felt inspired by a slight Western theme. Enhancing the voluminous shape of the skirt, we opted for a babydoll-esque top like the Prim Tank in White jersey. Worn off the shoulder with its mesh neckline, Prim received a princess-like makeover. A matching white leather belt cinched the waist, while white leather boots added complementary texture. The ultimate pièce de résistance was a pair of petaled teal earrings and an opal necklace, bringing in contrasting color. The brown vintage straw handbag and slicked-back hair added the final touches, resulting in a prime cowgirl-meets-luxury chic ensemble.

Transitioning to Navy, the Robson Hooded Dress in this darkened blue provided the perfect subdued yet impactful Summer hue. Simple gold chains and cognac knee-high boots effortlessly carried this look into the Fall season.

Meanwhile, the Francine Maxi Skirt stunned in light linen Navy, striking a balance between bohemian and metropolitan. Paired with the rusted burnt orange Terra Cotta Vivi Top, featuring shirring at the hem, this look felt fresh and exciting. Matching rusted warm tan leather sandals and a red alligator-textured clutch introduced pops of color without overpowering the ensemble, resulting in an unprecedentedly chic ensemble in unexpected, modern pigments.

Lightweight Summer jackets basked in the sun as we styled a complete outfit around the bright orange Pinata pigment of the Ridgeline Bomber. This semi-cropped, cinched-waist jacket looked adorable over the sweetheart-neckline ribbed Rippa Tank in the same hue. Antique brass hardware added a hint of differing texture and shine, while the light linen Teresa Pant in White brought contrast. White textured sandals and an orange leather oversize baguette bag finished up the look, while sparkling yellow-gold layered jewelry and white fringed earrings elevated the overall style.

On its own, the Malcolm Crop Jumpsuit in soft twill was a total showstopper, and the sandy Merino Wool pigment brought a calm neutral to the look, perfect for a safari adventure! Pleather sandals in the same hue maintained the simple beauty of this look, truly letting the one-and-done ensemble shine. Adding a pop of color like yellow or green with accessories or a bag completed the look.

Ultra-platform floral sandals found their perfect match in the gentle seasonal pastel of Fresh Willow Pigment. This light yellow-green hue captured the essence of a dewy Summer morning, beautifully complementing the flared twill and raw-edge-hemmed Lorilei Crop. To maintain the shoes' boldness, we opted for a tonal ensemble, pairing Lorilei with the Lazzaro Tank in the same hue. The Lazzaro Tank, with its asymmetrical hem, V-neck, and central layered seam, added bohemian influence through meticulous attention to detail. Oversized multicolor beaded earrings provided extra bursts of color, completing the look.

Finishing up the color story, we paired two variations of green with unexpected lavender. The Fresh Willow Allegra Pant cascaded into the mossy depths of the dark green Deep Fern Vivi Top, while lavender pointed stilettos added contrasting color to the mix. Stacked gold bracelets and Barbie-purple sunglasses further pulled in the hue, resulting in a look that felt Summery yet fit for business meetings or parties alike.

Accessorizing with like or contrasting colors and playing up textures truly elevated each look, while color-blocking and high heels maintained a playful opulence. From champagne evenings to days at your favorite beach town, transitioning from formal to casual was just a shoe change and an earring swap away. Be bold in your jewelry choices and opt for shoes that exude magnetism and confident steps. This Summer, we did the most with our style—and loved every minute of it. Embrace the world of bold style and live grand with stunning color, unique texture, and styles that flatter your look at every turn.
