We debuted our Spring 2012 collection at LA Fashion Week this past weekend, and the images are now starting to trickle in. We got glowing reviews of our “breezy clothing”. According to Staci Adams of LA Fashion Magazine, “the clothes were more flattering than many of the lines I’ve had the privilege to view during fashion week. XCVI’s biggest strength would absolutely be the fact that their clothing is universal- any type of woman could wear a multitude of pieces from the line.” Thanks to The Los Angeles Fashion Magazine and photographer Kai He, we get to enjoy our show over and over again by staring at these pics (see more on our Facebook page).

So you say that you would never wear yellow and definitely not any kind of bright orange or green. And we hear our own motherly voice commanding you to “just try your vegetables” – you may find that you actually like them!
In theory, a bright orange may sound extreme. But add some muted “spices” and we give you a beautiful and sophisticated coral color which looks stunning on most skin tones. Wearing this color, you might find that you are craving more of it – and might even want to go all the way with a bright shade!
We are instituting the “no thank you bite” as a challenge for you to at least try wearing that one color you’ve sworn off. We promise you won’t regret it…remember, the secret is in the dressing.

A thing as simple as our company name brings us a lot of laughs throughout our work day. When we originally thought of the name back in 1996, we thought it would be easy and catchy enough. But boy, were we wrong…the kind of confusion our name causes on a daily basis (over the phone, in stores, etc) has given us some really great laughs! But don’t worry…we are laughing with everyone, not at everyone. Because frankly, this name was not as clever as we thought.
For instance:
“Hi, I’m calling from XCVI”
“I’m sorry, how do you spell that?”
We’ve grown to love our name and the difficulties that come with it. And we had a GREAT time poking fun at the whole thing at our last commercial video shoot. Putting improv professionals in one room for a whole day leads to some insanely hilarious stuff. We hope you enjoy our new commercial! And more importantly, we hope we have answered the ultimate question: LETTER, LETTER, LETTER, LETTER: How do you say this???”
