A Makeover For The New Year

XCVI fashionHere we are. It is the first week of 2010……. Aren’t you scared?

We are right at the time of our New Year, where our promises and resolutions are sinking into reality, or more so, how they will actually fit into our own realities.

We all have the notion of new beginnings, new mottos, and trying hard to shake things up a bit in our lives. It’s a long list all around the world, spilling over with grandiose notions of trying skydiving, or trying to date outside your type, remodeling a bathroom.

It all sounds fantastic, but let’s face it: most of us give up on these uber-fantasies of starting anew within a couple of weeks.

Here’s my thought: it is better to start slowly from within yourself if you want something new in life. Little things you can do for YOU will change the world around you, your personal universe.

We all love to see a good makeover because the best change that we actually are seeing is shining through in the person’s eyes, smile, and attitude. But most of us are hesitant to do this for ourselves.

XCVI fashionLet’s really begin. Let’s take the couple adventurous steps with even the slightest makeover for yourself.

Start by trying to mix a few new shapes and styles into your usual wardrobe. In the new line showing right now in New York Tradeshows, XCVI has quite a few new things for you, the lady who loves comfort.

How about a cropped cape-like cardigan to throw over your usual t-shirt and jeans? Or the Dewdrop Skirt with a surprisingly flattering voluptuous ballooning hem.

Then there is the Madhatter Jacket in such a sophisticated new shape it will turn heads and beg for compliments anywhere you go!

It is those moments of excitement from being tickled with flattery that we need to start new, to start fresh this year. It draws out the best piece any woman has in her wardrobe; her smile, and beginning your positive change within.

Happy New Year everyone.
